Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to respond to The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri who recently addressed him as ‘Bollywood’s one and only Milord'. Vivek recently reacted to Anurag Kashyap's statement on the impact of films like Kantara and Pushpa in the industry, as quoted by a publication. Now Anurag replied to his tweet. Anurag wrote, “Sir aapki galti nahin hai, aap ki filmon ki research bhi aisi hi hoti hai jaise aapki mere conversations pe tweet hai. Aapka aur aapki media ka bhi same haal hai. Koi nahin next time thoda serious research kar lena (Sir, it isn't your fault, your film researches are done as same as your tweets on my conversations. You and your media are the same. No worries, do some serious research the next time).”

Malaika says Arbaaz Khan’s family was there for support after her accident: ‘I may not be their number one person’

Malaika Arora's reality show Moving In with Malaika is in its second week and with every new episode, the actor has been opening up about parts of her personal life that were previously unknown to her fans. In a recent episode, Malaika shared that after she met with a near-fatal accident earlier this year, Arbaaz Khan's entire family showed up for her. Arbaaz and Malaika got divorced in 2017.

In the episode, Malaika was in conversation with filmmaker Karan Johar and the director said, "I remember what was interesting which I took back home with me after your accident the whole family showed up. I mean they were there." Malaika met with a car accident in April when she was traveling on the Mumbai-Pune highway.

Malaika, who co-parents son Arhaan with Arbaaz, said, "I may not be their number one person on their list but they do it because Arhaan is there. That's the right thing to do."

Drishyam 2 box office collection Day 24: Ajay Devgn's film is unstoppable, sets a post-pandemic record

Ajay Devgn's thriller Drishyam 2 has been ruling the box office ever since it released on November 18. The film, directed by Abhishek Pathak, continues to keep a strong hold despite several new releases in the theatres. Drishyam 2 had collected Rs 100 crore within a week at the box office! And now, it has also entered the Rs 200-crore club. On Sunday, December 11, the film's numbers saw a jump again. Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna, is also competing with Varun Dhawan's Bhediya, Ayushmann Khurrana's An Action Hero and Kajol's Salaam Venky.

Abhishek Pathak directorial venture Drishyam 2 opened at the ticket windows on November 18 with a whopping Rs 15.38 crore. Gradually, the film saw a massive increase at the box office collection. After entering the Rs 100-crore club in just seven days, the film crossed the Rs 200-crore club too on December 10! On Day 24, December 11, Drishyam 2 collected Rs 5.45 crore at the box office. Hence, the film has managed to mint a total of Rs 209.04 crore at the domestic ticket windows, according to trade reports. Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 had an overall 19.30 per cent Hindi occupancy on Day 24.

Veteran actress Veena Kapoor beaten to death by son over property dispute, body dumped in river

Recently, there was a piece of news doing rounds on the internet that a 74-year-old woman has been brutally killed by her son over a property dispute. It is now that the country has learnt that unfortunately, the woman was veteran actress Veena Kapoor. Veena has done numerous serials and films as a character artist.

Viral Bhayani posted, “Just few blocks away from actor Jeetender's bungalow in Juhu is where this sad incident took place. At this posh Juhu locality a man killed his 74 year old mom with a baseball bat and later dumped her body in Matheran. Her US based son found a doubt and alerted the Juhu police.”

MNS leader threatens against release of Fawad Khan's 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' in India

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Ameya Khopkar on Friday, threatened that his party would not let Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's Pakistani film 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' to release in India.

"There are plans to release Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's Pakistani film ' The Legend of Maula Jatt' in India. It is most infuriating that an Indian company is leading this plan. Following Raj Saheb's orders we will not let this film release anywhere in India," he tweeted.
