Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has finally wrapped up shooting for her upcoming film, The Archies and celebrated the occasion with a party. The young star cast came together to party in Mumbai on Tuesday including lead actors Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda. All three of them will be making their Bollywood debut with the film. Suhana and Khushi posed together for the paparazzi along with co-star Yuvraj Menda before joining the team at the venue.

Suhana looked stunning in a red bodycon dress and had her hair tied in a loose bun. Khushi was in a black backless short dress paired with black flats. After they posed together with a friend, Suhana also waved to the paparazzi before going inside. The debutant actor was her candid self and even broke into a laughter while posing for the cameras. Yuvraj Menda was in a black tee and denims paired with black shirt and carried a black handbag as well.

James Cameron returned to the big screen with Avatar: The Way of Water after more than a decade. Excitement among fans was widely seen as his film is known to be larger than life and a visual spectacle on big screens.

As expected, the film opened to a roaring response at the Indian box office. The science fiction film received rave reviews from critics as well as from the audience. It is being lauded for its exceptional VFX and is being highly hyped for its storytelling.

In just a little over two days, Avatar 2 managed to enter the 100 crore club. The film on Sunday earned a massive 46 crores. Now the film’s collection stands at 129 crores. As per early trends report, James Cameron’s ambitious film earned Rs 16-18 crores on the first Monday.

Thirteen years after Avatar released in 2009, its second part, Avatar: The Way of Water hit the Indian screens on December 16. Avatar 2 opened in the Indian theatres with a whopping Rs 40 crore, making it the second-biggest Hollywood opener of all time in India. On Day 2, December 17, the film exceeded all expectations and took a huge jump in its collection. In just two days, Avatar 2 has managed to cross the Rs 100-crore mark!

According to trade estimates, the James Cameron-directorial earned in the range approx Rs 40.50 crore at the box office on its opening day on December 16. This makes Avatar 2 the second-highest box office opener in the Indian market. The first one was the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame which earned Rs 53.10 crore on its opening day. Now, as per the early trends flowing in, Avatar 2 closed its Day 2 collections in the range of Rs 44-46 crore. It is a massive jump from its Day 1 collection. Hence, the grand total now stands in the vicinity of Rs 100 crore. It stands at a monstrous Rs 1500 crore worldwide. Meanwhile, Avatar 2 is expected to cross beyond Rs 130 crore in its opening weekend at the Indian box office. If things go well, the film might even cross Rs 200 crore in its first week!

He also reacted to protesters in Indore burning effigies of actor Shah Rukh Khan. Besharam Rang features Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone romancing in Spain. 

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Prakash shared a news article and wrote, "#Besharam BIGOTS.. So it’s okay when Saffron clad men garland rapists..give hate speech, broker MLAs, a Saffron clad swamiji rapes Minors, But not a DRESS in a film ?? #justasking (sic)."
