Former No. 2 overall NBA Draft pick Lonzo Ball has been marred by injuries over the past couple of seasons.
Ball underwent a serious knee procedure and he's yet to fully recover from it.
But the former UCLA Bruins one-and-done star has made it clear: he plans on playing again.
"I'm going to play again," Ball said Saturday.
Ball, who hasn't played since midway through the 2022-23 season, made his thoughts clear.
"Life is not easy," Ball said. "If you want to get the most out of it, you gotta put your best foot forward. If you're going to get knocked down, you gotta get back up every time if you want to keep going. You can always quit and take the easy way out and pout and go to the side. But for me, if you're trying to get to a place where I want to get to, you just gotta get back up, dust off and keep going.
"I'm going to play again."
Hopefully, we'll see Ball back on the court at some point, but he could miss all of 2023-24.
