India on Saturday (January 28) reported 99 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the central Health Ministry data showed.

Currently, there are 10 active cases, and the total infections stand at 4,46,82,437.

At least 108 people recovered from the infection, while one death took place in Maharashtra.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.06 per cent while the weekly positivity was pegged at 0.08 per cent.

The website also mentions a total of 2,20,36,02,459 people were vaccinated for coronavirus, with at least 34, 835 receiving the injections in one day.
