TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who was issued a notice by the Central Bureau of Investigation for questioning in relation to the Delhi excise policy case, on Monday said that she would not be able to meet the CBI officials on December 6 and is available for questioning by sleuths from December 11-15 except December 13.
She wrote a letter addressed to Raghavendra Vatsa, Head of Branch/ DIG, CBI, ACB Delhi.
The Telangana Chief Minister KCR's daughter, in the letter, said that she read the FIR and her name does not figure in any manner whatsoever. "I have carefully gone through the contents of the FIR, list of accused persons as well as the contents of the complaint dated 22.07.2022. I wish to place on record that my name does not figure in any manner whatsoever," Kavitha said in a letter.
In the letter to the investigating agency, the TRS MLC said that she is comfortable in meeting with the CBI sleuths at her residence in Hyderabad.
Earlier, on November 30, she was named by ED officials in the alleged liquor scam. She was named by the ED in a court filing over its investigations into the Delhi liquor scam.
