Soon after Congress member Rahul Gandhi’s attack on the government over the issue of fuel price rise, BJP on Wednesday accused him of spreading “falsities” and speaking “lies”. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said Rahul quoted the subsidised price during the UPA government while referring to the non-subsidised cost of cylinder during the BJP government.
“Rahul has again done what he is best at. He has spread falsities and he has lied,” he said. After Gandhi referred to GDP rise as gas, diesel and petrol price increase, Patra said,“Those who ran a government of CNP — corruption, nepotism and policy paralysis — are trying to spread falsity about GDP.”
