
New Delhi: Supreme Court has confirmed the release of disputed film Padmavat countrywide including Rajasthan, in spite of State government's plea not to release this film in Rajasthan. Even after apex court’s decision, a demonstration against the release of this film is still going on across the state. However, Rajput Karni Sena has said that film will not be released in any case in entire Rajasthan.
The president of Shree Rajput Karni Sena Mahipal Singh Makrana said today that government should come up with an ordinance to stop the release of film nationwide. He said if the film is released they have plan to block the roads and call Janta curfew.
On the other hand, state home minister Gulab Chand Katariya said that government is taking all appropriate majors to maintain law and order in the state. He also assured that full proof security will be provided to CBFC chairman Prasoon Joshi, on his arrival in the State to participate in Jaipur Literature festival.
Police is also preparing to handle all the possible situations regarding law and order. Meanwhile, all the film distributors of the state have refused to distribute the film. Most of the cinema hall owners have already refused to show the film in their theatre.
