New Delhi: The Government has said that the implementation of Goods and Services Tax will be immensely beneficial for the country as well as the states. Quoting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said on Wednesday that the taxation system in the country has become more transparent after GST came into existence.

Mr Kumar was speaking to media after the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting in New Delhi. He mentioned that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj briefed the MPs during the meeting about the recent visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the US and Israel. Replying to a media query, Ananth Kumar said the government has made it clear that it is ready to discuss each and every issue on the floor of the two Houses.
