
New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan is leading an Indian Parliamentary Delegation to Mauritius from 6 to 10 June 2017. The Delegation includes Lok Sabha Members Sushil Kumar Singh, Bhairon Prasad Mishra, Dhananjay Bhimrao Mahadik, Neelam Sonker, K. K. Ragesh and Ripun Bora, all members of Parliament and Anoop Mishra, Secretary-General, Lok Sabha.
Joint Secretary, Lok Sabha Secretariat Prabhat Chandra Koul is the Secretary to the Delegation.
During the visit, the Delegation will call on President of Mauritius Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, and Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth. The Delegation will also call on Speaker of the National Assembly of Mauritius Santi Bai Hanoomanjee and meet Minister of Foreign Affairs Seetanah (Vishnu) Lutchmeenaraidoo; Leader of Opposition Xavier-Luc Duval, and former Prime Minister and Minister Mentor Aneerood Jugnauth.
The Delegation left New Delhi for Mauritius on Tuesday, 6 June.
